    Welcome to the Unofficial Guide for volunteer teachers in Georgia. The purpose of this website is to provide information for prospective volunteers who are thinking of coming to Georgia to take part in the TLG program, and for existing volunteers within the country.

    As the title of the website suggests, this is an unofficial guide, written by myself annd other volunteers, and reflects primarily on the experiences of the hundreds of volunteers who have been through the TLG program. As such, the information and opinions posted here are our own, and do not reflect any position of the TLG program.
